Other services that can be provided by 24/7 home care include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, and medical social work care. This type of care is often used for those patients who may be recuperating from an injury or having a surgical procedure. These professionals come to the home of the patient and provide care as needed depending on the recommendation of the patient's physician.
24/7 home care services have a variety of different contracted professionals that can provide the same care a patient would receive in a nursing home facility. If at any time the patient needs treatment from a physician or medical specialist, the patient will be taken to a healthcare facility to receive the necessary treatment. By receiving routine daily care and assistance at home, this allows the patient to continue to enjoy the comfort of their own home as well as have regular visits with friends and family members.
